GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Police are looking for the man who robbed and attacked a woman early Tuesday, Oct. 18, in southeast Grand Rapids.
It happened around 5 a.m. in the area of Bates Street and Dolbee Avenue. Investigators say a 57-year-old woman was walking down the street when a man approached and demanded her belongings.
Police say they got into a struggle and the woman was stabbed in the legs before the suspect ran away. She is expected to be OK.
The suspect is described by police as a 6-foot tall, thin black man between the ages of 25 and 30. He was last seen wearing a black hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans.
