Workshop helps women avoid career burnout

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- A Grand Rapids business is inviting working women to a weekend workshop aimed at keeping them from burning out professionally.

It's called "Access Vision Granted," by In Life Now Enterprises. The goal of the workshop is to help women overcome feeling overwhelmed.

According to organizers, 77% of women in the U-S are feeling job burn-out.

"There are three things I want them to look at that answers feelings of being overwhelmed, overlooked and burned out -- and that is the feeling of lack of worth, lack of purpose and lack of vision," says Toresea Blakely, a certified professional life coach. "I want to help them to stir up the pot if you will to help discover what that is."

The workshop will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Saturday at the "Bates Place Drop-In Center," on Bates Southeast. Tickets are $25.
