Autopsy: No signs of injury on 2 men found dead on the West Side

GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - No signs of injury were found on either of the two men found dead on Grand Rapids' West Side last weekend.

According to an update from the Grand Rapids Police Department, autopsies for Kenneth Johnson, 26, and Christopher Luster, 41, were completed. Both men were found dead inside of the home they shared on Quarry Avenue NW on Sunday, Dec. 17. Luster was Johnson's uncle.

The medical examiner will not determine a cause of death until the toxicology results are in. Carbon monoxide poisoning can not be ruled out until the tests are complete, however, GRPD states the fire department tested the air in the home when they arrived on scene and results indicated it was safe for first responders.

The case is still under investigation until officials can rule out anything criminal in nature.
