GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- There will be a three week delay in the legal case against the man suspected of killing a college student from West Michigan.
Marquay McCoy's preliminary hearing was supposed to be held Monday but the officer who arrested McCoy in Grand Rapids last month was not able to attend. That pushes the hearing back until at least March 24.
McCoy, 19, is suspected in the January 31 death of Michigan State University student Dominique Nolff. He faces charges in Grand Rapids for eluding police before his arrest.
