2 people injured after crash in Holland

HOLLAND, MICH. - Aero med was called into a crash in Holland Thursday. The crash happened on Chicago Drive at 112th Avenue around 4p.m.

Two women from Holland were hurt in the crash.  According to the Ottawa County sheriff's department a 18 year old is in critically injured and 22 year old is in serious condition. 

The 22 year old was driving north on 112th  with 18 year old in the passenger seat and was hit by a 33 year-old man from Zeeland. 

The driver that hit the two woman was not injured. According to police all three were wearing seatbelts. 

Police say the 18 year old in critical condition is Aleigha Kent, of Holland she was taken to Butterworth Hospital. The 22 year old is Angelica Arizmendi of Holland and the 33 year old is Jared Jabobs. 

Roads in the area were shutdown briefly. Authorities say the cause of the crash is still under investigation.
