2 missing toddlers located in locked car in Holland Township

Missing Holland children update

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Deputies in Ottawa County spent the afternoon searching for two toddlers who ended up being found locked inside of a pick-up for sale.

Captain Mark Bennett tells WZZM 13 the brother and sister were reported missing by their mother around 11:30 a.m. Thursday, June 8.

Lilly Ann Osborne, 4, and her brother Rowan, 3, were last seen near their home in the 600 block of E. Lakewood Boulevard before being found just before 2 p.m.

Deputies say they were found a few doors down, east of the home, inside of a pick-up truck for sale on the MI Auto Center lot. The children got into the car and somehow locked themselves -- forcing deputies to break the window of the car to get them out.

The children are safe and have been reunited with their parents.

Deputies do not think anything suspicious of the incident.
