Holland Township teenager shot in the chest with a pellet gun

HOLLAND TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Ottawa County Deputies are trying to figure out what led up to a teenager getting shot in the chest in Holland Township, Thursday, June 22.

Deputies were called to a home on Elberdene Street, off Riley Street and 112th Avenue around 5:45 p.m. They found a 16-year-old boy with a shot to the chest. 

He was taken to an area hospital and treated for a pellet gun wound, then released.

Deputies do not have a suspect.
