Suspects, 2 vehicles sought in Holland shooting

HOLLAND, MICH. - Police are looking to identify two vehicles that could lead them to suspects in a shooting investigation at a Holland townhome complex.

Witnesses told police a white Chrysler 300 entered the Meadowlanes Townhomes complex, came across a person on foot and began firing at them, according to a news release. It's believed the pedestrian returned fire as the car took off.

Police say the person on foot was seen getting into a red-colored pick-up and left the area.

Officers responded around 3:25 p.m. Monday, June 19, and found shell casings but no victims.

Two people were reported inside the Chrysler car; their description is not known. The person on foot is described as a black man, aged between 20-30 years old and was wearing a dark hooded sweatshirt.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call Holland police at 616-355-1100 or Silent Observer at 1-877-887-4536.
