HOLLAND, MICH. - A 48-year-old Holland man is in custody after a stabbing near 16th Street and Central Avenue in Holland Tuesday, Oct. 11.
Just after 8 p.m., officers were called to the area on a report of a person screaming. Once on scene, police found a blood trail. They followed it to the area of 17th Street and Columbia Avenue where they found a man with a stab wound to his neck.
Before being taken to the hospital, the 55-year-old Holland man gave police a description of the suspect. A short time later, officers were able to track him down and make an arrest.
The victim was taken to Holland Hospital. He is expected to be OK.
