ZEELAND TOWNSHIP, MICH. - A man was badly hurt after crashing his car into a retaining wall north of Zeeland. It happened just before 2 p.m. Sunday, March 12, near the corner of 96th Avenue and Ransom Street.
Investigators say 29-year-old Tyjuan Braddock was driving north on 96th when witnesses say he started swerving. His car eventually went off the right side of the road and into a ditch before hitting that retaining wall.
Deputies believe Braddock fell asleep while he was driving.
He was taken to Spectrum Butterworth Hospital where, at last check, he was listed in serious condition.
