Person in custody after fatal shooting at Hookah Lounge of Holland

Anthony Lamb, 22, was gunned down in the parking lot early Sunday morning.

HOLLAND, MICH. - The Ottawa County Sheriff's Office has a 27 year old in custody after a fatal shooting in the parking lot of the Hookah Lounge of Holland.

Adam Rene Young faces a charge of lying to police, and he is an habitual offender, Cpt. Mark Bennett said. Police cannot yet say whether Young or anyone else is connected to the shooting; that investigation is ongoing.

The investigation began after two people were shot on Sunday, Sept. 11, around 3:15 a.m. at the business on Butternut Drive.

Anthony Lamb of Muskegon, was pronounced dead at the scene. Another man, 28, was shot in the leg -- he is now in police custody on unrelated charges.

An autopsy shows Lamb died from a single gunshot wound from a small caliber weapon. Police say the bullet went through his arm and into his chest.

Kalamazoo shooting survivor Tiana Carruthers is related to Lamb, according to a post on her Facebook page. Carruthers was shot several times during the February 2016 shooting; witnesses said she put herself between alleged shooter Jason Dalton and a group of kids.

Investigators are still looking into what exactly lead up to the shooting.  They say it's not clear if Lamb even knew the shooter.
