Kalamazoo-area man killed in crash that threw him from vehicle

RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Police are working to determine what led up to a deadly crash that caused a driver to be thrown from his vehicle.

Bradley Miles, a 52-year-old Richland resident, was found on the ground just after 11 p.m. Friday, March 10, near Gull Road and N. 30th Street, according to a Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Department news release.

The responding officers tried performing CPR on Miles but were not successful. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say Miles was the only person in the vehicle, and he was not wearing a seat belt. 

It's not known whether speed or alcohol are factors in the crash.
