Kalamazoo police looking for driver who hit 2 pedestrians

KALAMAZOO, MICH. - Kalamazoo police are looking for the driver who hit two pedestrians, then took off Monday night.

Public Safety officers found a 32-year-old woman and a 48-year-old man in the 1100 block of Sherwood Avenue just before 11 p.m. The woman was unresponsive, but breathing at the time. The man was conscious and alert.

The woman was taken to Bronson Hospital in critical condition. The man was also taken to the hospital in serious condition.

The vehicle that hit them left the scene before officers arrived. Police were given limited suspect information. They are looking for a black or gray sedan. It should have damage to it's front end.
