KALAMAZOO, MICH. - Kalamazoo Police are investigating after a man showed up to a Kalamazoo area hospital with gunshot wounds.
It happened on Oct. 19, 2016 at approximately 1:20 a.m.
Kalamazoo Public Safety officers responded to the Déjà Vu nightclub on a report of multiple gun shots fired. Upon arrival, officers were told by witnesses that two black men had been arguing and one of the them fired several rounds at the other in the parking lot.
The suspect and victim left the scene prior to the officers' arrival.
A short time later, a man arrived at Bronson Hospital with a gunshot wound to the arm. The victim is 37 years old with non life threatening injuries. The victim was not cooperative in the police investigation.
The suspect is described as a black man in his early to mid 20’s with a beard. He was seen wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt and blue jeans. He was last seen leaving the area of the Déjà vu in a dark colored sedan with two other occupants.
