KALAMAZOO, MICH. - Police in Kalamazoo arrested a Pennsylvania man after he drove a car into a home Thursday night. the man, 51, was able to get out of the vehicle on his own, but it was heavily damaged.
The crash happened at a home near the intersection of Mills Street and East Stockbridge Avenue around 9:45 p.m. A witness reports the vehicle was going a a high rate of speed, and failed to stop at the T intersection.
The vehicle ended up heavily damaging the front porch of a home there. The homeowner was not injured.
The driver of the vehicle was arrested and charges will be submitted to the Prosecutor's Office in accordance to Michigan's "Super Drunk" Operating While Intoxicated law.
