SCHOOLCRAFT, MICH. - A 14-year-old boy is in custody at the Kalamazoo County Juvenile Home after he allegedly made threats to shooting up a school.
Police say the teen, who is not identified, posted the threatening message on Instagram, according to a news release. It was reported by school officials Saturday, Oct. 8.
An investigation led to the arrest of a 14-year-old boy for using terrorist threats -- a 20-year felony if convicted.
The message implied violence at a school but did not identify a specific school system, police said. They do not believe anyone else aided in the threat
