OTTAWA COUNTY, MICH. - It took just two days for the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office managed to fill 140 spots in an active shooter training course.
The course was scheduled due to high demand following recent mass shooting. The training provides strategies and a plan for living through an active shooter event.
Since the single session filled up so quickly, authorities have decided to offer two more courses for next year.
One will be held Jan.11 and the other Feb.10.They are free but you must register online to guarantee a seat.
