Michael Buble invites seniors to concert after viral lip-dub

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. (WZZM) -- Singer Michael Buble took center stage Friday night, performing at Van Andel arena.

There were some special fans in the audience from a local retirement home.

Three years ago, people living at the Clark Retirement Community starred in a lip-dub of Buble's song "Feeling Good."

The video, produced by students at Grand Valley State University, received more than 1.4 million views on YouTube.

Buble gave the senior living center 100 tickets to his concert because of that video.

"We did hope that someday he would come and visit us here at Clark and thought, 'Wouldn't that be great for him and for us,'" said Fern Dirksen. "And since he couldn't actually come to Clark, he gave the tickets."

The lip-dub video went viral and was featured by media like Good Morning America and the BBC.

At Friday night's concert, Buble played a portion of the lip-dub video and introduced the seniors to the audience.
