CASCADE TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Thousands of Consumers Energy customers will be without power for two hours early Wednesday while utility crews make repairs.
Power will be shut off around 2 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, for roughly 4,560 customers in southeast Kent County, including Cascade and southwest Lowell townships, according to a news release.
The approximate location of the outage includes Hall Street to the north, I-96 to the south, Morse Lake to the east and Kraft Avenue to the west.
It's expected to come back on around 4 a.m.
Emergency work at the Cascade substation is required "to maintain reliable service," the release reads.
