WALKER, MICH. - 7-year old Xzayvier Buchard-Mease has a 'Build-a-Bear' with an Army camouflage outfit and a dream of one day being a soldier himself.
U.S. Army SPC Larry Harris wants to make Xzayvier's dreams come true.
The catch? Xzayvier was born with a rare knee deformity called "Flexion Contracture," resulting in five surgeries and could possibly lead to amputation.
So SPC. Harris, the United States Army Reserves, Michigan State Police, Walker City Police and several Grand Rapids city officials and dignitaries have planned something special.
