JUNIATA TOWNSHIP, MICH. (AP) - State police are trying to find the person responsible for hitting and killing four calves with a vehicle in a Tuscola County pasture.
Police say the calves were hit Friday in Juniata Township, about 75 miles northwest of Detroit. Troopers found vehicle parts at the scene. Poles and electric fencing also were damaged.
Police say they suspect a 1997 to 2003 Ford pickup truck or Explorer SUV may have hit the calves. The vehicle likely has damage to its front end.
Anyone with information is asked to call the Michigan State Police post in Caro.
