TRAVERSE CITY, MICH. (AP) - Spring turkey regulations, inland trout management and decisions on several fishing rules are among topics to be dealt with during a meeting of the Michigan Natural Resources Commission.
The commission meets Thursday at the Michigan State University Diagnostic Center in Lansing.
Its policy committee on wildlife and fisheries will discuss the turkey hunting regulations and receive updates on an inland trout management plan, early elk season results and a fish passage initiative on the Boardman River.
The full commission will hear reports on parks and trails, chronic wasting disease, Lake Michigan fish stocking and bovine tuberculosis.
