MSP: 11 people killed over 4th of July weekend

MICHIGAN - Don't drink and drive, do wear your seat belt and be aware of motorcycles and bicycles.

Those are the big messages Michigan State Police want people to keep in mind throughout the rest of summer.

Eleven people were killed over the 4th of July weekend on Michigan roads. Of those 11 instances, at least three involved alcohol. Four involved motorcycles, two involved off-road vehicles and one victim was a bicycle rider.
