2 people hurt when plane crashes at Greenville airport

EUREKA TOWNSHIP, MICH. - Two people are hurt following a plane crash in Montcalm County.

The plane, a small Piper Super Cub aircraft, reportedly took off just before 4 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 11, from Greenville Municipal Airport and crashed not long thereafter, according to Michigan State Police.

The cause of the crash is not clear.

Two men, ages 24 and 29, were the only ones onboard the aircraft. One of them broke both of their legs, dispatch reports indicate.
