Search ends for missing Farmington Hills woman

The search for a 23-year-old Farmington Hills woman has ended after a body believed to be hers has been found, authorities said.

Farmington Hills Police said in a release today that they are no longer looking for Elizabeth Joy Hock, who was reported missing Friday after last being seen Sept. 6.

Farmington Hills Police referred additional queries for information to the Oakland County Sheriff's Office, which may release information later today. Police also said Hock's family is asking for privacy at this time.

Farmington Hills Police previously said Hock's 1999 gold Ford Crown Victoria was found Tuesday in the parking lot of the PetSmart in the Commerce Crossing Shopping Center at 14 Mile and Haggerty Road in Commerce Township.
