37-year-old Ryan Wright entered a "no-contest" plea in Muskegon County court last week.

MONTAGUE, MICH. - A Lakeshore teacher will be sentenced later this summer for having sex with a student.

Ryan Wright entered a no contest plea in Muskegon County court last week.

As part of a plea deal, prosecutors are dropping one of the charges the 37-year-old faced.

They say the Montague high school gym teacher had sex with a student, sometime between last June and this February. School officials did not say if the inappropriate conduct happened on school property.
