GRAND RAPIDS, MICH. - Oct. 31 isn't just a day to dress up as a ghost or ghoul and eat mass amounts of miniature candy. It's also a day to enjoy a twist Michigan's most notable fruit crop.
It's National Caramel Apple Day. And with such a good apple crop in Michigan this year, you're bound to find many places selling the seasonal favorite.
Over the weekend we picked up caramel apples from Ferris Coffee & Nut at 227 Winter Ave NW in Grand Rapids. They were $4.50 for a plain caramel apple and $5.50 for one with toppings.
Wherever you choose to get caramel apples, enjoy them on National Caramel Apple Day!
