MUSKEGON, MICH. - A demolition crew cleaning up following a major fire at a Muskegon-area business hit a natural gas line, setting off another fire.
Workers are reported to be moving away from the structure this Wednesday, March 15, afternoon as firefighters and utility workers make an effort to turn off the gas.
The Muskegon Castings Corporation building, located near South Sheridan and Olthoff drives, is considered a total loss after a fire swept through late Tuesday.
About 40 employees were inside the building when the fire started, and all were able safely escape.
