Lakeshore Restaurant Week underway

Lakeshore restaurant week begins

MUSKEGON, Mich. (WZZM) -- There will be some busy head-chefs on the lakeshore in the coming days. Nearly 20 Muskegon area restaurants are participating in the second annual Lakeshore Restaurant Week through Sunday, November 15.

At the Hearthstone Bistro, executive chef Josh Sandberg is offering a three-course, French-inspired dinner for $25. Other restaurants are offering discounted deals and specials to their customers, including some buy-one-get-one-free meals.

Participating restaurants range from the Fatty Lumpkins sandwich shop to waterfront dining at the Lake House.

"I personally think we have great food here at the Hearthstone," Sandberg said. "There are a lot of other independents here on the lakeshore, so come and support us, come and see what we are all about. There is a lot to be able to try here in Muskegon."

Lakeshore Restaurant Week is online at its Facebook page and its website, lakeshorerestaurantweek.com.
