Michigan State Police finds non-active meth lab at Muskegon County home

MUSKEGON COUNTY, MICH. - Michigan State Police are looking for a Muskegon County man who had the makings of a meth lab at the home where he had been staying.

On Tuesday, Oct. 18, police were called to a home in the 7100 block of Progress Drive. That's in the Blue Lake Residence housing development near Lakewood Club.

At the home, they say they found a non-active meth lab. Police removed a number of potentially dangerous items from that home that had residue from the cooking of the drug.

A woman at the address tells WZZM 13 the man police were looking for does not live at that residence, but had recently been recently staying.

A member of the narcotics' team WEMET says enough evidence was seized to pursue a 20 year drug charge against the man when he is located.
