MUSKEGON, MICH. - The mother of a man accused in a series of rapes has pleaded guilty to charges of threatening one of her son's alleged victims. The Muskegon Chronicle reports Lynette Humphrey entered her guilty plea Tuesday to a charge of 'witness intimidation.'
It's part of a plea deal that will limit her jail time to 60 days. Humphrey left a voice mail message with one of her son's alleged victims, threatening to beat her up. She'll be sentenced in October.
Her son, 34-year old Joshua Humphrey, and 31-year old Larry Stiff, are accused of using date rape drugs to sexually assault two women.
