The Muskegon Salvation Army is located at 1221 Shonat St. Some of the projects include stocking pantries and toys, preparing gardens for winter, cleaning kettles for bell-ringing season and decorating for Halloween.

The students come from seven school districts in Muskegon County, including Muskegon High School, Muskegon Middle School, Orchard View High School, Reeths-Puffer High School, Whitehall High School, North Muskegon High School and Mona Shores High School.

The students also spent the past three weeks collecting food and personal care items to help stock the pantries.
