MUSKEGON, MICH. - The cruise ship season in Muskegon began this morning with the arrival of the Pearl Mist into Muskegon Lake.
The ship is making ten stops in Muskegon between now and late September.
It's docked for the day, June 8, at Heritage Landing.
The ship can accommodate around 200 passengers, many will spend the day visiting shops, restaurants and historical sites in the city.
Later this summer, the Victory I cruise ship will make its' first visit to Muskegon.
The Pearl Mist is cruising from Toronto to Chicago and will be back in Muskegon Sunday morning.
