Police: Woman stabbed to death after large fight, suspect still at large

Police looking for holiday stabbing suspect

MUSKEGON, MICH - Police in Muskegon are looking for the woman responsible for stabbing another woman to death following a large fight over the holiday. 

According to a news release from the Muskegon Police Department, officers are attempting to find 30-year-old Rakelio Latrice Fountain, also known as Bonner. She is named a person of interest in the stabbing death of 24-year-old Earaysha Hudgins on July 4.

Officers were dispatched to the 7th Street and Grand Avenue area just before 10 p.m. on Tuesday on report of a large group of people fighting. When officers arrived on the scene, they found a Hudgins had been stabbed and taken to Hackley Hospital. She suffered multiple stab wounds and died at the hospital. 

Police will continue to investigate the incident and ask that anyone with information about what happened, or where Fountain is, to contact police at 231-724-6750 or Silent Observer at 231-722-7463.
