Render charged with assault and intent to murder

Jaraun Render is charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder.

MUSKEGON, MICH. - Jaraun Render is charged with two counts of assault with intent to murder, and other charges, for a Nov. 13 shooting in Muskegon.

Police say he shot his former girlfriend, 19-year-old Linda Jamerson, and 26-year-old Dajaun Edison, while they were sitting in an SUV in the parking lot of a Sunny Mart.

A judge will review evidence next week against Render. 

Both victims are recovering.

Render is due back in court next Tuesday.
