4 people injured in Myers Lake crash

COURTLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) - The Kent County Sheriff's Department is investigating a crash that injured four people Sunday afternoon on Myers Lake Avenue and 15 Mile Road.

The crash happened around 3:30 p.m.

Deputies have determined a 1999 Pontiac Grand Prix driven by Adam Brace, 29, of Cedar Springs was travelling westbound on 15 Mile and struck a 2000 Dodge Caravan which was southbound on Meyers Lake driven by Alan Kenyon, 53, of Lowell.

Both drivers were transported to the hospital with serious injuries. Kenyon's wife and 10-year-old daughter were passengers in the Caravan, and both of them were also taken to the hospital with serious injuries.

The patients' injuries are not considered life-threatening.

Alcohol is not believed to be a factor, and the accident remains under investigation.
