MARSHALL, Mich. (Battle Creek Enquirer) - At least two people were hurt in a pair of accidents Friday morning on I-94.
Both the Michigan State Police and the Calhoun County Sheriff Department were at the scenes of both this morning.
The first was in the westbound lanes of I-94 at 11-Mile Road and officers said a truck entering the highway from the on ramp lost control and tipped over. That accident slowed traffic.
The first accident is believed to have caused a second crash at 8:38 a.m. on westbound I-94 near the I-69 interchange.
Sheriff Department Capt. Steve Eddy said two semi trucks and a Waste Management trash truck were involved. Two people were injured in that crash and the damaged vehicles caused deputies to shut the road and detour traffic.
Both accidents remain under investigation.
