Michigan Apple Fest this weekend in Sparta

Sparta celebrating Apple Fest this weekend

SPARTA, MICH. - What could possibly be more fun than an apple slingin', pie eatin', taste testin', cider sippin', sauce makin' festival of everything Michigan Apples?!

Nothing better at harvest time, at least, while on the "Ridge" – a farming area north west of Grand Rapids. And Sparta is the gateway hosting the Michigan Apple Fest for families to enjoy the abundant  bounty of the harvest!

The "Big Red" sling shot will host the kids and adults sling shot competition to sling apples 100 yards away – and a kiddie version, of course, for those little ones who want to try their hand at a marshmallow shooting contest.
