Toddler revived after near drowning in kiddie pool

BOSTON TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM) -- A 2-year-old boy was revived after nearly drowning in a kiddie pool at a home in the Clarksville area.

It happened just after 1 p.m. Thursday at a home in the 7700 block of Nash Highway, just south of I-96.

The child was unconscious and not breathing when pulled from the pool. CPR was administered before emergency crews arrived and the child began breathing again.

The boy was transported by ambulance to Spectrum Helath Butterworth Hospital, where he is conscious, breathing, and sitting up playing with toys, dispatchers reported.
