ANN ARBOR, MICH. (WZZM) - Following a caught-on-video confrontation between an Uber driver and a University of Michigan student in Ann Arbor, Uber says both men are suspended from using the service.
The student, Jake Crowman, is seen on the video yelling anti-gay comments and swearing at the driver. Before the incident, Crowman claims the driver made an anti-Semitic remark to him.
U-M has since issued a statement condemning the student's behavior, and Uber says the driver's behavior violates the service's code of conduct.
Uber says it continues to investigate the incident.
