Victim not helping with investigation into Walker shooting

WALKER, Mich. (WZZM) -- Walker Police have stopped their investigation into a weekend shooting, because they say the person who was actually shot is not helping them.

The shooting happened in the parking lot of TGI Friday's on Alpine Avenue Saturday night.

Walker Police Deputy Chief Greg Long says the victim, who had a minor wound, is being "extremely uncooperative."

Police did take one person into custody at the scene, for carrying a concealed weapon without a permit -- but they don't know if that person is responsible for shooting the victim.
