MONTAGUE, MICH. - A Montague High School teacher has been formally charged on allegations he had sex with a student.
Ryan Wright was arraigned Monday, April 3, on one count of third-degree criminal sexual conduct in Muskegon District Court. It's suspected Wright was involved in a sex act with a student at the school sometime between June 2016 and February 2017.
Wright turned himself in to police during the weekend.
He was placed on paid administrative leave on March 3 because of the investigation. Jail records show Wright is being held on a $100,000 bond.
It's expected Wright will return to court next week, with a preliminary hearing scheduled April 18.
