Low turnout but still a lively crowd for Huizenga town hall

Rep. Bill Huizenga hosts town hall meeting at Godwin Heights High School

WYOMING, MICH. - Republican Congressman Bill Huizenga held a town hall Tuesday, April 11, in Wyoming. The turnout was much lower than recent town halls, but the crowd was still lively.

"I would like to know, how are you going to stand up to Donald Trump?!" shouted one lady during the event.

A hot topic for many was the recent U.S. attack on Syria.

"I think the response we had was appropriate but now the next step, I think we need more involvement from the Arab league nations," says Huizenga.

Healthcare was also discussed.

"What I want to do is maximize ability for veterans to get as much care as they need," says Huizenga.

Huizenga is planning on holding more town halls in the future, the dates and times have not been finalized.
