Pedestrian seriously hurt in Wyoming crash

Man taken to hospital with head and leg injuries

WYOMING, MICH. - A Wyoming man is in serious but stable condition after being hit by a car on Division Avenue Sunday, Oct. 16.

The incident occurred just before 8:30 p.m. near 32nd Street. Police say Carlos Moncrief, 24, was attempting to cross Division when he was hit. 

The driver of the car, a 31-year-old from Wyoming, and two witnesses say Moncrief stepped into the street without looking.

It is unclear at this time if the driver, who is cooperating with police, will face any charges.
