PIERSON, MICH. - A Montcalm County man will serve one year in jail, for the hit and run death of a pedestrian from Wyoming in 2016.
According to the Greenville Daily News, Richard Zuidewind was sentenced for operating under a suspended or revoked license causing death.
On July 22nd, 2016, police say Zuidewind was riding his motorcycle when he hit 32-year old Jerud Schneider, who was walking on Stanton road.
State police say Zuidewind left the scene but called to report the crash.
