WRIGHT TOWNSHIP, Mich. (WZZM)- The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department is investigating a two-car crash.

It happened in Wright Township at Cleveland and 40th Street in Wright Township Saturday afternoon.

Police say 16-year-old Joel Creager of Conklin was driving a 1992 Ford Ranger. He was heading northbound on 40th street.

Police say he ran through a stop sign and crashed into a 2004 Subaru driven by 49-year-old Jeri Price of Rockford. Upon impact, both vehicles rolled over.

Creager's truck caught fire and he was pulled out by someone who had seen the accident and stopped to help. He sustained multiple injuries and is in serious condition at Saint Mary's Hospital.

Meanwhile, Price was pinned inside her vehicle and had to be rescued with the Jaws of Life. She sustained multiple injuries and was sent to Spectrum Health for evaluation.

Two other passengers were in the car, 58-year-old Jack Price is in stable condition at Spectrum Health and 47-year-old Susan Heft sustained head injuries.

All of the people involved in the accident were wearing their seatbelts. Alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the accident
