Mild Days, Wet Nights

Morning clouds will give way to sunshine this afternoon. Temperatures will range from the mid 50s north to the upper 50s to around 60 degrees south. Winds will be light from north-east inland and light and variable along the lakeshore.

Rain will redevelop across the area this evening. Up to one quarter inch is expected. Temperatures will dip into the low to mid 40s. Winds will be east at 4-8 mph inland and north-east at 3-6 mph along the lakeshore.

Wednesday will be cloudy with morning showers. It will be a mild day with temperatures in the mid 50s to near 60 degrees. Winds will be light and variable inland and variable-southwest at 3-6 mph along the lakeshore.

Thursday will be mostly sunny and warmer with temperatures in the mid to upper 60s. Winds will be southeast at 7-14 mph inland and 8-16 mph along the lakeshore.

A strong cold front approaches the Great Lakes region on Friday bringing clouds back to the area during the morning followed by afternoon and evening showers. Temperatures will climb to around 60° with strong southerly winds at 15-25 mph.

Halloween will be cloudy, windy and colder with occasional showers. High temperatures will be in the upper 40s to around 50 degrees. Temperatures will fall into the mid 40s for trick-or-treating with wind chills dipping into the 30s. Winds will be strong from the west at 15-25 mph.

Sunday, after 'falling back' an hour to Eastern Standard Time at 2 AM, the weather will feature mostly cloudy skies and a few sprinkles with temperatures in the upper 40s.

The 6-10 Day Outlook for Sunday, November 1 through Thursday, November 5 calls for below average temperatures and near average precipitation. Average highs are around 50-52° with average precipitation of .50" and average snowfall of 1.3".

The 8-14 Day Outlook for Tuesday, November 3 through Monday, November 9 calls for near average temperatures and near average precipitation. Average highs are around 48-51° with average precipitation of 0.74" and average snowfall of 1.8".
