HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM)- Two Holland Township residents could face charges after admitting to taking a Holland man's wheelchair from a Walmart store.
Ottawa County deputies questioned a man and woman in their 50s Friday after they were identified from the store's surveillance video.
The wheelchair belongs to 63-year-old Jose Garcia. Employees were storing Garcia's wheelchair while he was using one of the store's motorized carts to shop.
Garcia was paralyzed from the waist down after falling at work 25 years ago. The wheelchair is specially modified to fit his body, with an adjustable back.
Garcia's chair is expected to be returned to him Friday afternoon.
We will have more on this developing story tonight on WZZM 13 News.
