BREAKING NEWS: Holland man struck by car dies

HOLLAND, Mich. (WZZM)-A Holland man has died after being struck by a car.

Shortly after 10 p.m. Thursday, investigators say 43 year old John Willie Williams III was crossing U.S. 31 at Felch Street when a car driven by a Chicago man hit him. The Ottawa County Sheriff's Department indicates Williams was wearing black clothing while walking in the rain, making it hard to see him. 36 year old Christian Frost unsuccessfully swerved to avoid him. No one inside the vehicle was hurt.
