Roosevelt Park -- Investigators say a Roosevelt Park realtor shot by a disgruntled client has died.
Troy VanderStelt was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m. today, but was kept on life support to allow doctors to harvest his organs for transplants.
Prosecutor Tony Tague says 73-year-old Robert Johnson went to VanderStelt's office on East Broadway around 8 a.m. Tague says the men went into a conference room. That's when, according to the prosecutor, Johnson pulled a handgun and shot VanderStelt in the face.
Tague says Johnson then went to the home of a family member on Leif Ave. in Norton Shores and turned his handgun over to the relative. The family member called 911 and police arrived to take Johnson into custody without incident.
Johnson's relatives tell WZZM 13 News he was upset about the sale of a home and purchase of another in the last two years. They say Johnson suffers from depression.
